August 2017 started for me with Caz an Ben's gorgeous wedding at the beautiful Curradine Barns. From personal touches with photographs of their life together and their love of music to the relaxed vibe of the whole day it was an absolute joy!
The day started with me, as always, being about an hour early so I decided to have a little wonder around the gorgeous Curradine Barns and the village lanes to look for some beautiful spots for photographs later. After being chased out of a field by a cow I purposely parked my car badly to block part of the barn I absolutely needed to use later.
The bride and her bridal party arrived and headed up to the beautiful bridal suite at the barns (it's so lovely to see that a venue has thought about all of these little details). The room has plenty of space, comfortable chairs and is really light and bright which is ideal for the bridal preparation photographs.
Everything went to plan and in line with Caz's very precise timetable for the morning even leaving time for Ben to have a little touch up before the make up artist left. The venue was decorated with gorgeous bunting, photographs of the couple and the awesome vinyl record table numbers all made this a very Pinterest worthy wedding. Even down to the picture perfect reaction Caz's dad had when seeing his daughter in her dress for the first time.
As they Young's took their first walk together as man and wife they pottered off with me for some portraits in the gorgeous fields surrounding Curradine Barns the guests were entertained by the brilliant Darren Campbell, magician extraordinaire! (darrencampbellmagic.co.uk). Thankfully the predicted showers held off until everyone was back inside for the speeches, the part of the day Ben had been dreading and gave me the chance to catch an audible sigh of relief when he finished!
Between a few showers we managed to catch all of the formal portraits, Caz's requested shoes photo and then the beers and Ameretto Slammers began to flow. The guests tucked into popcorn, played games and had LOTS of fun with the vintage Photo Booth before their very first dance as Mr and Mrs Young.
As the sun was setting the guests danced the night away, made proper use of the photobooth and tucked into some absolutely delicious smelling barbecued food.
I can't wait to get back to the gorgeous Curradine Barns this February!! Blooming love this place.
